We Are Hiring – Risk Management & Business Continuity Officer

Job Purpose

Support the development and implementation of risk management and business continuity frameworks, helping the organization identify, assess, manage, and monitor risks while promoting a strong risk awareness culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Management

• Support the development and updating of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Assist in implementing the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process.
• Coordinate risk assessments across different departments and business units.
• Support risk owners in identifying, assessing, treating, and reporting risks.
• Organize and support risk identification and assessment workshops.
• Review departmental risk registers for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the development and maintenance of the organization-wide risk register.
• Monitor key risks, treatment plans, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Identify opportunities to improve the risk management framework.
• Support risk management training and awareness activities.

2. Business Continuity Management

• Support the implementation and regular review of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.
• Coordinate with business units to complete Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and dependency assessments.
• Support the identification of recovery requirements.
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining Business Continuity Plans.
• Plan and support BCP tests, tabletop exercises, drills, and scenario simulations.
• Document results and follow up on improvement actions.

3. Quality & Performance Management

• Support periodic reviews of risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor the progress of risk treatment plans against agreed timelines.
• Prepare and report updates on risk and business continuity activities.
• Support continuous improvement of risk management and business continuity practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CERA, CRM, PRM, or similar is an advantage.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, business continuity, or a related field.
• Candidates with 2–3 years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience in enterprise risk management, governance, or business continuity is preferred.
• Experience within the energy sector or a large organization is an advantage.
