HR/ Relationship Manager / Business Development - Native Chinese Speaker

Job Description:

We are seeking a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with experience in HR, Relationship Management, or Sales, and a strong background in the construction or contracting industry. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between Chinese and local teams, supporting business operations, client relationships, and workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Functions (if applicable):

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations for project staff
  • Act as a communication bridge between Chinese management and local employees
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Assist in payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and HR documentation

2. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients or partners
  • Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Resolve client issues and maintain high satisfaction levels

3. Sales / Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction/contracting sector
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations
  • Support contract negotiations and closing deals
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects

Requirements:

  • Native Mandarin Chinese speaker (fluency in English is required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in:
    • HR, OR
    • Relationship Management, OR
    • Sales / Business Development
  • Mandatory experience in construction or contracting industry
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Chinese construction companies such as China State Construction Engineering Corporation or China Railway Construction Corporation
  • Knowledge of the UAE market and regulations
  • Experience handling large-scale projects or government contracts
