We Are Hiring – Food Hygiene & Safety Officer

Ultimate HR Solutions (UHRS) is hiring a Food Hygiene & Safety Officer for a leading organization in the UAE.

Job Purpose

To ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety across food and beverage operations and support compliance with required food safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor food hygiene and safety across food preparation, production, storage, and service.
  • Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections and prepare reports.
  • Follow up on corrective actions and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Maintain HACCP, CCP, OPRP, and food safety records.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor personal hygiene and health records of food handlers.
  • Support food safety investigations and handle related customer complaints.
  • Conduct inspections of external food outlets, suppliers, and catering operations when required.
  • Support food safety activities during events and exhibitions.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Culinary, HR, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other teams on food safety matters.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Microbiology is an advantage.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene & Safety certification required.
  • HACCP and ISO 22000 training required.
  • Level 4 Food Hygiene or HACCP Auditor certification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, catering, food manufacturing, or similar environments.
  • Experience in events, exhibitions, or large-scale food & beverage operations is preferred.
