Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review structural components for substations, control buildings, switchyards, gantries, towers, foundations, and associated facilities.

• Conduct structural analysis, calculations, and simulations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with project standards EWA/ADDC/TRANSCO or international equivalent.

• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs).

• Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with design drawings.

• Collaborate closely with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to integrate structural solutions with overall project design.

• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material certifications for structural adequacy.

• Assist in resolving technical issues, design modifications, and value engineering solutions.

• Maintain documentation for approvals, revisions, and project closeout.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural design and site supervision for transmission projects, substations, or high-voltage infrastructure.

• Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, or Revit Structure.

• Experience with concrete, steel, and composite structures in industrial or utility projects.
