Description for Internal Candidates

The purpose of the role is to oversee cash flow, manage financial transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while providing strategic insights to enhance financial performance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as the principal liaison with banking partners, ensuring optimal service levels, negotiating favorable terms, and proactively managing operational banking risks to support enterprise-wide liquidity goals.

• Lead and execute the end-to-end cash management process, including real-time monitoring of inflows/outflows, monitoring the cash module, driving enhancements for forecasting precision and cash cycle efficiency.

• Prepare and analyze monthly bank reconciliation statements and cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with working capital targets and corporate liquidity strategies.

• Evaluate and report on key treasury KPIs, such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), contributing directly to working capital improvement initiatives.

• Analyze cost of capital metrics (e.g., WACC) to support funding decisions, internal rate of return (IRR) assessments, and treasury strategy alignment with corporate finance objectives.

• Support the credit risk assessment process by analyzing counterparties’ financial strength, setting internal credit limits, and recommending mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with FP&A and Financial accounts teams to integrate cash flow projections with business planning, budgeting, and long-term financing models.

• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff in advanced cash operations, treasury systems, and reporting best practices, fostering a high-performance finance culture.

• Contribute to policy development and internal controls related to treasury, banking authority, fraud prevention, and segregation of duties, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

• Act as a key stakeholder in ERP upgrades and treasury tech automation projects, enhancing reporting, reconciliations, and cash visibility across entities.

• Support in banking relationships for credit facilities and working capital lines, providing input on interest rate structures, covenants, and drawdown strategy.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, also preferred professional certificate CTP / CMA / CPA / CFA

• Required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience may be considered exceptional for candidates of high caliber.

• Preferred: Experience and knowledge of banking practices and financial management specific to the UAE.

• Priority will be given to UAE national candidates.
