We Are Hiring – External Communications Manager

Ultimate HR Solutions (UHRS) is hiring a Manager – External Communications for a prestigious and well-established organization in the UAE.

Job Purpose

To manage external communications, strengthen corporate reputation, build media relationships, and develop engaging content that supports the organization’s business objectives and public image.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of external communications strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets across the UAE, GCC, and relevant international markets.
• Identify opportunities to highlight business achievements, investments, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
• Write and edit press releases, media statements, executive briefs, articles, Q&As, and other communication materials.
• Translate complex business and financial information into clear, engaging content for external audiences.
• Support senior leadership communications, interviews, and thought leadership activities.
• Manage media enquiries and coordinate timely, accurate responses.
• Support corporate reputation management, issue monitoring, and crisis communications.
• Plan and coordinate media campaigns, corporate announcements, and industry events.
• Work closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external communications agencies.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure consistent messaging, accuracy, and high editorial standards across all communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in external communications, corporate communications, public relations, or journalism.
• Experience in a large organization or communications agency is preferred.
• Strong experience in media relations, press releases, executive communications, and content development.
• Good knowledge of the UAE and regional media landscape.
• Experience managing corporate announcements, communications campaigns, and multiple projects.
• Experience in corporate reputation and crisis communications is an advantage.
• Exposure to financial communications and working across GCC or international markets is preferred.
