Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work including cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures.
• Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark and cut materials accurately according to specifications.
• Install doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other wooden structures as required.
• Carry out repair, maintenance and modification of existing wooden structures.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper finishing and quality of completed carpentry work.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Carpenter in construction, fit-out, maintenance, joinery or related environments.
• Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials and techniques.
