Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement OT cybersecurity architecture for transmission substations (132kV / 220kV / 400kV).

Secure SCADA systems, RTUs, IEDs, HMI, and substation automation systems (SAS).

Develop and review network segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VLAN configurations, and secure remote access solutions.

Ensure compliance with client standards (DEWA / ADDC / TRANSCO) and international standards such as IEC 62443, NERC CIP (if applicable), ISO 27001.

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and mitigation planning.

Review vendor submissions and ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated in project design.

Coordinate with IT, telecom, protection, and control engineers to ensure secure system integration.

Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities related to OT security.

Prepare cybersecurity documentation including security policies, procedures, network diagrams, and compliance reports.

Monitor and respond to security incidents within OT environments during project execution phase.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in OT cybersecurity within power transmission or utility environments.

Strong knowledge of SCADA, Substation Automation Systems (SAS), and industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3).

Experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), SIEM tools, and endpoint security solutions.

Familiarity with IEC 62443 framework and industrial cybersecurity best practices.
