Job Description: TIBCO EBX Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced TIBCO EBX Techno-Functional Consultant to support Master Data Management (MDM) and SAP S/4HANA integration for a large-scale retail transformation project.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in TIBCO EBX development, data modelling, workflows, system integration and retail master data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and develop EBX data models, workflows and validation rules.
  • Configure and customize TIBCO EBX using Java/Groovy and EBX APIs.
  • Manage master data quality, cleansing, validation and governance.
  • Integrate TIBCO EBX with SAP S/4HANA and other retail systems.
  • Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare technical documentation and coordinate with business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) or data engineering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX (5.x/6.x).
  • Experience in at least 2 full-cycle EBX/MDM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of EBX data modelling, workflows, validation rules and triggers.
  • Experience with Java/Groovy, EBX APIs, REST/SOAP, XML and JSON.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and retail master data (products, stores, suppliers and customers).
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or FMCG projects.
  • SAP S/4HANA rollout or SAP MDG experience.
  • TIBCO EBX certification.
  • Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira or Confluence.
